Evergreen Drift Bancho

The Evergreen Drift Bancho 3.0 and 3.5 Normal Sinking is a special model for shore fishing in conditions of strong currents and tides and boat drifting.

Conditions common in the northwest Atlantic, in the Bay of Biscay and in the waters of the Strait of Gibraltar or the Canary Islands where it is very successful. It has a nose with a profile that allows it to cut the current and three positions for hooking the clip, each one allows it to swim in a different way, to go deeper, or to go shallower.

Norihiro Shigemi, who has put his stamp on Evergreen Drift Bancho, is a master of reading the tide and specializes in drift fishing.  It is not only a fishing technique to drift the lure with the current, but it is a technique to actively understand the tide, to set the target and to handle the lure in various ways.

The first thing to look at is the snout of the Evergreen Drift Bancho where the current rocks the lure as soon as it hits the water, there is a stainless steel plate with an integrated eyelet that allows the EGI to be extremely sensitive. This allows the lure to even sense changes in the current and tide and find the slightest shifts that could allow us to detect areas of bait conglomeration, pools with no flow and faster current lines.

With the line attachment at the top of the nose, the Evergreen Drift Bancho will navigate in a horizontal or slightly downward position regardless of the strength of the current it is passing through at that moment.

The three attachment positions further expand the possibilities and versatility of the Evergreen Drift Bancho, and even allow you to work with it in different layers of water and enjoy a darting motion that would be impossible with other EGIs.
