The Lure Keeper by OMTD provides us with a very simple, practical and economical solution to make the most of our softies, improving its mobility in fishing action and reducing damage, and therefore its consumption.
As you can see in the images, the Lure Keeper by OMTD is screwed on the front part of the soft bait and it is hooked to the hook's eyelet. Depending on how we consider it appropriate, we can screw it more or less so that it remains somewhat adjustable once the bait is hooked to the hook; if it is too tight, we can release it from the eyelet and loosen it a little; if it is soft, we can tighten it, this way our set-ups will always be perfect.
The fact of being able to insert it into the densest part of the soft plastic avoiding having to go through it with the hook, whose profile is definitely thicker, gives the Lure Keeper by OMTD better grip and prevents the softie's head from tearing during casts or hook-ups. The spiral, being thinner and sinking more into the body of the lure weakens it less, and therefore our lures, with a little luck, will last longer.
The large size of the Lure Keeper by OMTD is suitable for large shads and significant baits, say 4.5" and up, with a thick body. The small size can be used with craws and thick baits as small as 2.5" or 3" for thinner soft lures.
