What is the darting? Keep your eyes opened, if you understand at first attemp, it's easy. When applying jerks the lure moves in an open zigzag that attracts the attention of predators. The simplest way to perform the movement is to draw an imaginary "Z" with the tip of our rod and make the jig head fall between 1 and 3 seconds, a few turns of the handle to notice tension and redraw the "Z" once again.
